Joan – Yes, the logo on this post is the one I was talking about. I still can’t believe that’s the best they could come up with!

And the fact that you’d never heard of the website in the post is just further evidence of how badly executed it all was, don’t you agree?

Hi,
If the logo you are talking about is the one with your post, I agree it’s ugly. But I have never heard of the tourism site you mention.

If I want the Italian tourism site, I use the one at http://www.enit.it. There is an English version. I use it for info on regions and probably will again when I work on my 14th trip to Italy for fall 2009.

I like to do my own research, and mostly do it area by area..I have been to Sicily and Lake Como, I don’t think I used the named website at all.

My prefered countries are France Italy or Spain. I have no desire to go to China, maybe certain areas of the USA .

I am off to Italy again this year, this time going to Liguria..and then hopping over to Nice!
