I have been to Italy a few times and it always made me feel beautiful and desired And the ones that came on to me always left if I showed no interest, as opposed to men in some other countries who won’t take no for an answer!

Another great article Jessica. Italian men know how to make a woman feel special by a seductive glance or a beautiful comment. Chivalry is an art form in Italy.

very well expressed Jessica! I agree on the chivalry too – it’s nice. I think some of this stuff you just have to take at face value and not think about what assumptions may underlie it – just appreciate it and enjoy the moment — as you obviously do.

Reminds me of a sign “parking for women” I saw once in Turin, which at first irritated me but then I thought, hey, a prime parking spot for me – I’ll take it! (I blogged about it too – http://italyfaves.typepad.com/italy_beyond_the_obvious/2008/12/parking-for-women.html)
