You can take the high-speed train from Milan-Bologna in about an hour, and from there you’d have to take a public bus. That is the potentially complicated part, especially if you don’t speak even a little Italian. The information about the bus you’d need to take is listed in the article above under “How to Get to the Lamborghini Museum.” Making a reservation isn’t a bad idea, but I don’t believe it’s required.

heyy..great article …just wanted to ask that ..i will be in milan for 3-4 days this july & planning about a day trip to lamborghini museum..few queries – is the trip feasible as in i would be using public transport ; how tough is it to reach the museum also is a prior reservation etc required ..also i know only english hardly any italian so will that be a problem..looking forward to your reply..thnx

Just came across this post and loved it so much that I replaced the link in my post for directions on the tour to your blog. I didn’t do the whole tour but my husband did and liked it a lot. It really is in the middle of almost no where. Allowed us to stop off at a restaurant that we probably wouldn’t have otherwise found. No English spoken. Fantastic Food! Thanks.

Last fall, my husband and I visited the Lamborghini museum, toured the Ducati factory, then test drove a Ferrari (well he did) before visiting the Ferrari Gallery in Maranello. If you’re a car and motorcylce lover, this is a dream day in Italy.

Good article, I’m staying in Bologna at the moment, I’ve been recommended the Ferruccio Ferrari Museum in Dosso. I’m guessing that’s a different museum? Is it worth it (90 euro cab!)? Or should I attempt taking the bus to the official Ferrari museum, given it’s Labour Day?
