About getting there with public transportation:

Basically you take a train to Modena (short trip from Bologna) and then they have special train routes to Maranello & a shuttle bus if you don’t feel like walking 1km from the station to the factory/museum.

Hi, Oscar:

It’s hard for me to say, since I didn’t do the guided tour – and when I went, the museum was only half-built. If you’re really into cars, you’d probably enjoy a guided tour just so you’d have someone around to ask questions, but the exhibits are really clearly marked, too (so you don’t necessarily need a guide).

Even I would go and see the Ferrari Museum..would feel like a bit of a traitor, considering I am an Williams Formula 1 fan…who I also work for!

But hey, who would know …
