  • 10 New Ways to See Italy
In this article, Rick Steves outlines his suggestions for new (or new-ish) things to do and see in Italy this year. This is awesome… A short film by Terry Gilliam about a young boy visiting Naples with his parents. You can go right to Gilliam's website (http://terrygilliamweb.com/) and watch the whole 20-minute short for $2.99. Grab some friends & popcorn & enjoy.
  • Collettivo Gelitin
An art/design group in Italy has spent five years knitting, and the final product is an enormous pink rabbit lying on a hillside near Artesina, in the Italian Alps. You can even see the rabbit on Google maps, it's so large. [article in Italian] (via Annemarie Dooling & Erin Halvey on Pinterest)

I would have to agree with Rick Steves on the Time Elevator. It included a lot of shaking of the seats I guess to indicate the passage of time. I will say that I enjoyed the pre-show video or some such tech thing quiz. I answered all the questions about Rome correctly, not so the Italian family that was there.
