  • Massive Crowds And Crumbling Monuments, Has Venice Reached A Breaking Point?

Venice has been in the news quite a bit lately as the tourist burden increases at what seems like an exponential pace. Apparently last week the island's only parking lot got full – so police had to close the city to any more incoming cars. (The city has also made the odd decision to do a bunch of work in the parking lot in the middle of summer.)
