Napoli intersection shows Italian drivers are nuts
A friend sent me these videos, saying it was this kind of traffic that scared him half to death in Naples. I'm in Naples now, & yes – this is how the roads look. Same thing in Palermo. But I don't think this is an example of bad driving at all. If these drivers were bad, people would be getting hit. Cars/scooters would crash into one another. I think this just proves Italians are the most gifted drivers anywhere.

Napoli Ultras went hunting Liverpool fans, say police
When hooligans make the front pages, it's sad news for soccer fans everywhere. Apparently the night before the Napoli-Liverpool game in Naples, the Napoli "ultras" (the hard-core fans) went out looking for Liverpool supporters in town, & a couple Liverpool fans were stabbed and had to be taken to the hospital.
