  • Napoli intersection shows Italian drivers are nuts

    A friend sent me these videos, saying it was this kind of traffic that scared him half to death in Naples. I'm in Naples now, & yes – this is how the roads look. Same thing in Palermo. But I don't think this is an example of bad driving at all. If these drivers were bad, people would be getting hit. Cars/scooters would crash into one another. I think this just proves Italians are the most gifted drivers anywhere. 🙂



  • Napoli Ultras went hunting Liverpool fans, say police

    When hooligans make the front pages, it's sad news for soccer fans everywhere. Apparently the night before the Napoli-Liverpool game in Naples, the Napoli "ultras" (the hard-core fans) went out looking for Liverpool supporters in town, & a couple Liverpool fans were stabbed and had to be taken to the hospital.
