I think the best season is the spring to visit Italy and especially Rome, April and May are months in Rome with sunny and mild temperatures. Autumn is a sad season with rain.

Autumn in Italy gives indeed wonderful opportunities to savor fantastic food. There’s still fresh figs in September and luscious grapes of the Italia variety. At the end of October comes the fragrant “new olive oil , drizzled on crusty bread and lentil soup. November brings chestnuts roasted on woodfire with a glass of new red wine. Heaven!

…not only is it an excellent time – it’s the BEST time, in my eyes!

From the sagre, feste, mild weather, harvest, vendemmia, smaller lines and so much more… If someone plans a trip and has September free, come to Italy!
