		<description>This is an interesting topic and a real dilemma.  I don&#039;t know!  I think it&#039;s also hard to know what results a positive write up will have...I haven&#039;t been to Cinque Terre, but I think it&#039;s become well-known, so it&#039;s not as if Rick Steves&#039; writing about it alone brought that.

Maybe it&#039;s more of an issue for the whole travel industry, rather than being placed just on the shoulders of a travel writer or guidebook writer.  I guess it&#039;s better if someone who has that concern (like Rick Steves) is writing, as opposed to someone who really doesn&#039;t care.  This way they can balance what they put out there, and use their authority to encourage people to go off on their own as well.</description>
