“For Italians, Winning is an Art” - ESPN Euro 2008 Ad

I just saw this ad on ESPN during a commercial break in the Euro 2008 coverage… And it had me giggling, so I thought I’d share it with you. Even if you’re not a fan of Italian soccer, I think you’ll appreciate the Italian soccer “style” that’s demonstrated here.

Yes, in addition to being artists with the ball, the Italians are notoriously “artistic” in other ways. And as long as I can continue to laugh at them while I simultaneously cheer them on to victory, I figure I’m at least a little bit objective.

And by the way, that’s the Italian national anthem playing in the background… It’s a song I hope to hear lots of during the Euro tournament!
