Here is the contact information for the Irish Embassy and Consulates in Italy. While you hope to never need their services while you are traveling, it’s good to know they’re there if you do!

I’ve gotten a few emails about this, so let me be clear - I’m not with the government of Ireland, or the embassy or consulates. I write about Italy. I don’t have information about getting a visa to visit Ireland. If you want that kind of information, you’ll have to contact the embassy/consulates directly using the contact information listed below.

Hello there,
I decided to post a comment because I am looking for some information about rich families who lived in Dublin in the 18th Century, and I need someone to help me out. I couldn’t find any interesting books because what I am searching for is very specific. If any of you could help me, please send me and e-mail to the address I gave you as soon as possible, it’s pretty important. I hope to hear from you soon.

Best regards,

Carmen

To Whom it may Concern

Dear Sir,
I was just browsing on the internet when i noticed all these write up on the internet to your office, i believe that working visas should be given to those who hold the permanent stay in Italy to come and work in Ireland, for i believe that Italy is an EU country and therefore it should be allowed

hello i wish to move to Italy with my wife and two children, we want to go this september and want to rent a house for a year while looking for our ideal location in Venetto area to buy a house, can you tell me where i can find private ads. for houses to rent, all the estate agents only deal in holiday accomadation. thank you, Conrad

Conrad, you might check Craigslist - several Italian cities have Craigslist pages, and many have apartment rental sections. The other thing you could do, and which would probably be easiest, is to rent a holiday home for a short while and then, once you are in that home, work with a local real estate agent (or 2-3, as each agent only handles the properties they list, rather than being able to show you other companies’ properties) to rent an apartment for a longer time.
