Here’s a Monday video for you of the Piazza San Marco in Venice, which happens to be the front “lawn” of my favorite spot in all of Venice – the Basilica San Marco. As it happened, the water was a little high on the day they made this video, as the host demonstrates by getting his feet wet!

Why does he conclude by saying: “This is Vasco Rossi showing you Venice?” He’s a wiseguy,eh?
Yes, I assume he’s being a wiseguy. He’s identified in the ending credits with what I imagine is his real name, so saying Vasco Rossi must be some kind of joke.
For those who aren’t aware, Vasco Rossi is an Italian rockstar. The guy in this video is clearly not an Italian rockstar.
