Cheap Hotels in Portovenere

Despite the fact that the five tiny towns of the Cinque Terre take up only an extremely small portion of the Ligurian coast, they remain one of the biggest tourist draws in the region. That’s not to say there aren’t other places worth visiting in Liguria, however, and in fact there are other cities along the shore that are popular with cruise ships – including Portovenere.
Portovenere sits at the end of a bit of land that juts out between Riomaggiore and La Spezia, and while it’s not as popular as the nearby Cinque Terre or the resort town of Portofino further north, Portovenere is a UNESCO World Heritage site and well worth a visit.
